About the Company

The ISRAEL BALLET was founded in Tel-Aviv-Yaffo in 1967. Through the years, the company became one of Israel's leading cultural establishments and earned the appreciation and recognition of both public and critics worldwide. As the only dance company in Israel to perform the world's best classical, neoclassical, and modern repertoire, the ISRAEL BALLET set the goal to preserve and nurture the art of classical ballet, through its doing.

In parallel, the ensemble encourages groundbreaking artistic works that enfold innovation and by that, create a dialogue between classical ballet and the emerging diverse and varied Israeli contemporary culture.

The ISRAEL BALLET consists of up to 30 dancers from all over the world. Alongside, the company operates a ballet school which was established to create and shape the future generation of ballet dance.
