About the Company

Versatility, technical excellence, and a unique style are the trademark of CANADA's ROYAL WINNIPEG BALLET (RWB) - loved by audience and critics in the same way.

The RWB is one of Canada’s premier ballet companies and one of the oldest ensembles in North America. Since more than 70 years they have been toured nationally and internationally. More than 75% of the dancers in RWB are graduates of the RWB’s School’s Professional Division, and countless more are dancing with companies all over the world. André Lewis is the Artistic Director of RWB since 1996.

RWB has performed in almost 600 cities in 44 countries worldwide. After the immense success of Moulin Rouge, the company plans their return to Europe with the new breathtaking production of The Wizard of Oz.

"... what is danced has a fabulous sound and excellent dancers and tells about love and jealousy."

Bonner Rundschau, ter, 11.2015

"Godden’s Dracula ... presents all the elements of fear and evil, as well as the mystique and magnetism we would expect of the Gothic count ... Don’t miss it."
