About the Company

Founded by Susan Chalmers-Gauvin, CEO, and Artistic Director Igor Dobrovolskiy, the ATLANTIC BALLET OF CANADA (ATLANTIC BALLET) presents a diverse collection of original full-length narrative ballets which explore contemporary themes within the classical genre. Each of these ballets is conceived and choreographed by Igor Dobrovolskiy.

Igor Dobrovolskiy creates original ballet-theatre that fuses color, energy, and drama with choreography of high artistic caliber. His ideals drive the ATLANTIC BALLET and inspire each of the artist which are all classically trained soloists.

The Company makes its home in Moncton, New Brunswick on Canada's East Coast, a region rich in history and culture.
